美國減肥產品廣告誇大 退款3千4百萬美元

美國有四減肥產品的公司，因為廣告誇大不實，被聯邦貿易委員會要求撤下廣告，並總共退款賠償顧客約3千4百萬美元。

其中一家公司在媒體上做廣告，宣稱所銷售的粉末灑在食物裡食用，六個月平均可減肥約13.6公斤，這一粉末產品一個月用量費用為59美元，包裝和運費另計。但據這家公司主管自己的研究顯示，使用者在半年內平均只減掉2.5公斤，廣告明顯誇大，這家公司已同意退還顧客2千6百50萬美元。

另一家公司宣稱銷售的兩種減肥霜，臨床證明有減肥效果，可明顯消去橘皮脂肪，但沒有證據果真有效，這家公司也同意退賠45萬美元。

美國聯邦貿易委員會官員說，下定決心減肥很容易，要實踐卻很難。但是想要藉著在食物裡灑減肥粉末、大腿抹減肥霜或服用補充劑來減肥，成功機率微乎其微。
