道瓊社報導，臉書（Facebook）已收購連結分享服務平台Branch及其應用程式（App）Potluck，成為臉書企圖拓展即時通訊服務的最新證據。

Branch執行長米勒（Josh Miller）13日在臉書上留言：「在Branch與Potluck問世兩年後，我很高興宣布，我們將在臉書繼續我們的使命。」

米勒說，這兩項服務都將加入臉書的對話團隊（conversation group）。據最早報導此消息的科技網站Verge，這樁收購案價值約1,500萬美元。

米勒與岡葛（Cemre Gungor）在2012年創辦Branch，並設計出「用來與朋友消磨時間、聊聊網上有趣事物的網路與手機應用軟體」Potluck，推特共同創辦人威廉斯（Evan Williams）、史東（Biz Stone）和Betaworks創辦人波斯維克（John Borthwick）都是Branch的投資人。
