菲律賓公務船射殺台灣漁民，菲律賓華僑募款慰問，今天分別送給廣大興28號及滿春億號漁船受害家屬各新台幣250萬元。一行人下午來到琉球洪家，洪家人表示，事件發生以來社會各界不斷關心、慰問，甚至表明願捐款相助，但都被洪家人婉拒。

家屬表示：「自己好手好腳，有能力賺錢養活自己。」對於菲律賓華僑所募集的250萬元款項，洪家人除感謝，並表達婉拒之意，希望能用來幫助更需要幫助的人。

後來在眾人協調下，將這250萬元以洪家的名義，捐給全國漁會，作為漁難基金，幫助其他受害家屬。洪家人的義行與大義凜然，博得現場眾人好評。
