馬英九總統21日晚間在總統府舉行國宴歡迎巴拉圭總統佛朗哥伉儷暨訪問團成員。馬總統頒贈佛朗哥總統「采玉大勳章」，佛朗哥總統回贈馬總統「索拉諾羅培斯元帥懋績勳章」。

馬總統致詞時表示，他很高興代表中華民國政府致贈象徵最高崇隆的「采玉大勳章」予遠道來訪的佛朗哥總統，同時也感到十分榮幸獲得佛朗哥總統致贈「索拉諾羅培斯元帥懋績勳章」，這是兩國深厚情誼的具體展現，期盼雙方在既有良好合作基礎上，繼續加強發展彼此關係。
