畫底線的是關係子句, who擔任子句主詞, 這樣SVO齊備, 不就完整了嗎?
這個關係子句修飾A man, 亦即對A man作限定.

請問: This is the house where he lives. where所引導的事完整句吧 那 he lives 是完整句嗎? 這造成我判斷上的困擾

關副不能擔任主詞或受詞, 所以後面接的關係子句必須是完整的, 而關副用來修飾子句的動詞或述部, 功能就如同一般句子中修飾動詞或述部的副詞.

This is the house where he lives. 
he lives是完整句, where是修飾lives
如同一般句子"He lives there"(there修飾lives),
只是there改為where來與主句產生關係, 使子句修飾先行詞the house.
