最近食品安全衛生風波不斷，民眾也興起自家料理DIY的風潮。

家電向來是家內重要的好幫手，不論是冰箱、洗衣機還是電視、音響等，家中沒有這些配備，實在難以想像如何輕鬆過生活。隨著科技進步，家電商品也不斷地推陳出新，想要求高CP值、低價格的家電用品，除非貨比三家，不然價格永遠停頓；想要從購置家電中找便宜，從量販的樣品機下手，也能選到物美價廉的家電必需品。
在這薪水凍漲的時代，享受生活之餘，省荷包也是一大重點。而想從家電用品中減便宜，家電特賣會就變得十分受到歡迎。家樂福集合家電樣品及高庫存量商品做出清活動，即日起至27日於台北新店店及桃園經國店推出家電聯合清倉特賣。
公關經理林夢紹表示，這次特賣會包括洗衣機、除溼機、音響、平板電腦等家電，限時限量促銷，像是單眼相機樣品出清7折起、品牌電視樣品機出清8折起、品牌平版樣品機出清6折起。林夢紹強調，清倉商品價差比平常折扣更吸引，像是電視陳列商品可以價差好幾千元。此外，也建議民眾在購買時也可與銷售人員細問保固條件及相關配件是否齊全，搶便宜也可以搶得更心安。

大潤發觀察最近食品安全衛生風波不斷，民眾也興起自家料理DIY的風潮，看好單身女性市場，即日起至6月12日前推出幸福小家電促銷，全面下殺5.5折起，包括單人電鍋、單人果汁機業績皆有2成以上的成長。
此外，今年夏天也首次加入了刨冰機及冰淇淋機促銷，業者表示，今年小家電鎖定單身女性引進外型可愛，輕鬆省力的刨冰機，預計可以帶動女性客群成長2成。另外，廚房常出現的手持式攪拌棒，今年比去年再便宜600元，原價1790元，促銷價千元有找。
