中東冠狀病毒大流行可能性低

中東呼吸症候群冠狀病毒（MERS-CoV）已通報確診103例，其中49人死亡，病例集中沙烏地阿拉伯與阿拉伯聯合大公國。一篇由法國研究人員發表在國際知名期刊「刺胳針」（The Lancet）的論文顯示，病毒造成大流行可能性低。

但疾病管制署疫情中心主任劉定萍仍表示，每年10月是回教徒朝覲時期，建議患慢性病的朝聖者，應在出發前赴旅遊醫學諮詢。
