直昇機失事 宏都拉斯總統候選人逃過一劫

宏都拉斯國家黨(National Party)發言人表示，國家黨的總統候選人耶南德茲(Juan Hernandez)所搭乘的直昇機16日失事，所幸耶南德茲毫髮無傷。

耶南德茲和妻子及3名競選團隊人員，是在搭機前往首都德古西加巴(Tegucigalpa)東方130公里處的胡帝卡爾帕(Juticalpa)參加一場造勢大會時，發生這場意外。

耶南德茲在推特上發文說「感謝上帝，我們平安。」

據發言人表示，直昇機發生機械問題，耶南德茲他們聽到一些噪音，然後飛機就開始下降高度並且墜落，機尾折斷，所幸沒有人受傷。

宏都拉斯當局並未對造成這起事故的可能原因置評。

45歲的耶南德茲是國會議長，他和左派總統候選人秀瑪菈．卡斯楚(Xiomara Castro)之間的選情緊張。卡斯楚的丈夫就是2009年遭罷黜的宏都拉斯前總統賽拉亞(Manuel Zelaya)。

宏都拉斯總統大選將在11月24日舉行。
