Ernst & Young同意支付投資人9,900萬美元，以和解稽核雷曼兄弟財務時衍生的爭議；雷曼兄弟2008年9月15日已破產。這項和解案仍待美國聯邦地方法官卡普蘭批准。

在2007年6月12日到2008年9月15日間買進雷曼兄弟特定證券的投資人，在雷曼兄弟破產後蒙受巨額損失。這項和解協議將化解這些投資人的求償爭議。

奧克拉荷馬消防員退休金基金與退休體系等機構投資人，在雷曼兄弟破產後質疑雷曼兄弟的財報、Ernst & Young對雷曼財報的看法，也懷疑雷曼和Ernst & Young是否錯誤呈現或省略雷曼財務狀況的重大事實，為雷曼證券的價格灌水。
