阿茲海默症新突破　發現更多致病基因

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】治療阿茲海默症(Alzheimer's Disease)可望出現新突破，科學家發現更多增加罹患阿茲海默症機會的主要基因，日後可能只要使用鼻腔噴劑，就能治療。

來自全球15個國家、共180名研究人員，透過對照正常人和罹患阿茲海默症病人的DNA(Deoxyribonucleic Acid，去氧核醣核酸)，鎖定11個增加罹患阿茲海默症機會的主要基因後，又找出更多與阿茲海默症有關的基因，現在已經增至21個。

目前治療阿茲海默症的藥物，只能延緩病情惡化，無法解決腦部的致病根源。但這次發現更多致病基因，可望研發治療的新藥物，專家表示，日後病人可用噴鼻式噴劑，讓「健康」基因取代致病基因，便可治療病情。
