礦商砍探勘預算 商品看漲

礦業公司連續兩年大砍探勘預算，但中國對金屬與能源的渴求有增無減，正營造商品價格下一波漲勢。

客戶包括全球礦業巨擘必和必拓（BHP Billiton）的研究業者MinEx指出，2013年礦業公司大砍探勘支出30%（相當於100億美元）、緊縮尋找礦石與維持供應的預算後，今年料將再砍10%預算，包括鑽探、分析微粒以開挖新銅礦、鐵礦砂或金礦等作業。

礦業與金屬投資人可能樂見預算被砍，此舉可能助長商品行情反彈。

根據彭博資訊訪調分析師的結果，白金、鋁、白銀、鎳、鋅、鉛與鈾價可望在2017年前走揚，使罐頭、汽車與金屬產品的買主成為輸家。

長達十年的礦業榮景在2012年達到顛峰，使業者力行撙節，力拓、必和必拓與Glencore Xstrata等製造商紛紛藉縮減開銷與出售資產來提振獲利。

Investec資產管理公司駐開普敦基金管理人薩克斯說：「礦業公司削減探勘預算是對的，這個產業深受景氣循環左右。」

根據彭博資訊彙整的資料，雖然全球最大金屬消費國中國的經濟成長減速，今年經濟仍可望擴張7.5%，並在2015年成長7.2%，將是全球經濟成長最快的國家。
