新浪科技訊北京時間1月18日凌晨消息，英特爾周五宣佈，公司計划到2014年底把10.8萬人的員工數量減少5%，涉及超過五千人。

英特爾周四剛剛公佈財報稱，2013年第四季度公司凈利潤為26億美元，比去年同期的25億美元增長6%。這一業績好於去年同期，但不及分析師此前預期。每股收益51美分，高於去年同期，但不及分析師預期。

英特爾的主業仍在受到PC市場的影響，在進軍移動領域的過程中也頻頻受阻，尤其是智能手機和平板電腦市場。華爾街可能還是會關注英特爾對PC行業之外的領域有何展望。例如，該公司CEO科再奇(Brian Krzanich)就曾經在拉斯維加斯國際消費電子展(CES)上探討了“物聯網”趨勢。
