法務部: 曾勇夫沒說「君要臣死」

法務部新聞稿指出，有關聯合報8日報導標題「曾勇夫：君要臣死，臣不得不死」乙事，法務部說明此話並非前部長曾勇夫所說明之用語，在言談中也未表示此等含義，恐外界誤解，特此聲明。

這封曾勇夫下台後的第一項聲明指出，曾勇夫7日在法務部與記者聊天時，係針對整體事件僅以「絕未對個案關說，對於最高法院檢察署沒有證據遽作指摘，深表痛心，歡迎監察院快進行調查瞭解，以還本人清白，並正官箴，為讓法務體系正常運作，及不造成長官困擾前提，決定請辭，以老百姓的身分捍衛自己清白」，才向行政院長請辭。報導所指「君要臣死，臣不得不死」並不正確。2013/09/08
