小英教育基金會執行長林全率團參訪大陸，前副總統呂秀蓮19日到台北市議會參加扁聯會活動時表示，去溝通大陸政策沒什麼不可以，但應透明，最好出門前先宣布要做什麼事、見什麼人、談什麼，這樣比較好。

她說，民進黨多認識、了解中國是應該的，但她須提醒，過去監督國民黨，現在若步伐太快、重蹈國民黨的祕密政治，以後會喪失監督資格，民進黨自己的原則要守住；面對唯一的敵國中國，民進黨應戒慎恐懼、透明對等。

至於黨主席蘇貞昌也將訪問歐洲，呂秀蓮說，做好事、做對的事，都應肯定；想競選下任總統，有抱負都很好。
