沖繩市長連任 美軍基地搬遷計畫蒙陰影

共同社報導，日本沖繩縣名護市19日舉行市長選舉投票，這場選舉被視為當地民眾對美軍普天間基地遷移案的「公投」。普天間的基地預定從現在的宜野灣市，遷至名護市邊野古的海埔新生地，但許多居民認為基地應該完全移出沖繩。

開票結果顯示，反對遷移的現任市長稻嶺進勝選連任。稻嶺進競選期間矢言將動用市長權限，不會核准計畫並將阻擋施工。外界擔心，普天間基地的遷移進度延宕，遷移計畫蒙上陰影。
