迎戰新北市長寶座　游錫堃：「趕上台北市」

【林泊志／宜蘭報導】宣布參選新北市長的前行政院游錫堃積極佈局，他表示，新北市雖升格直轄市，4年來各項工程卻未見改善，與比鄰的台北市差距仍大，他認為自己有能力帶領新北市民趕上舊北（台北市），會參選到底。

游錫堃表示，過去擔任行政院長期間，除是扁政府時期任期最長的行政院長，期間更完成多項重大工程，包括基隆河整治解決長年的淹水問題、開通國道五號雪山隧道讓北宜兩地往來更加便利，而全國高速公路路網與花蓮玉長公路、高雄市自來水等幾項重大工程，均在他任內完成、改善。他認為，他是「專門解決重大陳年老案」，有信心勝選。
