母為4餓肚幼子偷食物　女警義氣放人

【於慶中／綜合外電報導】美國邁阿密一名4個孩子的母親，因為沒錢買食物，為了飢餓的子女，鋌而走險到超市偷食物遭到逮捕。但拘捕她的女警了解情況後不但放人，還送食物給她。

上個月，羅布爾斯(Jessica Robles)到當地一處超級市場，偷取總數300美元(約台幣9000元)的食物而被逮捕，負責處理案件的女警湯馬斯(Vicki Thomas)到場，知道她的慘況後，不但當場放人，還送了100美元(約台幣3000元)的食物給羅布爾斯。

湯馬斯表示，當時決定放人，是因為覺得逮捕了羅布爾斯，並不能解決她的孩子饑餓的問題。女警放人的事跡傳開後，不少善心人士紛紛轉送金錢及食物給羅布爾斯，一間傳呼中心的老闆更聘請她來工作，讓她能夠賺錢養家。
