最近四戰三敗，火箭教練麥克海爾 (Kevin McHale)的執教能力和八人輪換用人調度，漏洞被放得更大。

麥克海爾堅持八人輪換，讓火箭場上失去變化，板凳潛能自我設限，無法發揮，造成決勝期變化太少，陣容單調，攻防兩端都受到影響。

現代籃球八人輪換已經非常少見，大多至少是九人輪換，另外還加一名奇兵的10輪換，更符合現代籃球快速、壓迫防守的需求。

火箭現在的問題不在貝佛利和林書豪誰更適合先發，而在麥克海爾的用人調度和輪換自我設限出了問題，一旦火箭勝率跌破五成，甚至打不出更靈活多變的高效團隊，麥克海爾的位置也坐不了太久。
