【王秋燕／綜合外電報導】澳洲也面臨舉債上限僵局。澳洲國庫部指出，一旦澳洲國會拒絕澳洲政府提高舉債上限到5000億澳元的提議，澳洲將面臨龐大公共支出削減狀況。

澳洲政府3000億澳元的舉債上限將在下個月達到或超過，澳洲眾議院正在尋求參議院同意提高舉債上限。反對黨勞工黨則認為，上限增加到4000億澳元已經足夠。
