印度一列火車撞上橫越鐵軌的象群，造成七頭大象死亡，其中兩頭是小象；另有10頭大象重傷，可能會有更多大象死亡。事發時，火車速度約每小時80公里，而象群約有40頭大象。這是印度近代最嚴重的同類火車事故。
