最多落後達20分的鳳凰城太陽，第4節吃了秤砣鐵了心，展開「賭博式反攻」，單節狂轟44分，可惜最終還是功虧一簣，以106：113惜敗沙加緬度國王。

第4節7分54秒，國王後衛Jimmer Fredette的抄截上籃將領先擴大至20分，不過從這一刻開始，太陽決定將逆轉希望「梭哈」在三分球身上。

太陽新人Dionte Christmas、控衛Goran Dragic、前鋒Marcus Morris、P.J. Tucker接連在外線開砲，連快攻也是以三分出手為最高指導原則，還真的讓他們一度追到剩7分差。

可惜，最後54秒，Dragic對外線出手的Greivis Vasquez犯規，讓對手獲得3次罰球機會，最後1分鐘的犯規戰術，國王也是8罰全進，太陽逆轉夢碎。

決勝節，太陽三分球出手16次，投進7球，光是Tucker就包辦3球，投進2球的Dragic單節攻下18分。

Dragic最終攻下全場最高31分、5助攻，後場搭擋Gerald Green三分球8投6中，得到23分，無奈最後階段的「梭哈」為時已晚。

「他們比我們強悍，每個人都是如此強壯，我們找不到解決辦法。」Dragic賽後無奈地說。
