美國第一本印刷書 海灣詩篇拍賣破紀錄

美國一本1640年出版的書籍「海灣詩篇」在「紐約」拍賣，最後以一千四百 二十萬美元(約合新台幣四億兩千多萬元)落槌賣出，創下印刷書籍拍賣最高價紀錄。(謝佐人報導)

這本「海灣詩篇」被認為是美國第一批印刷書籍，至今僅存11本，破損程度輕重不一。這是當年清教徒搭乘「五月花號」帆船抵達美國後，將聖經上的詩篇從希伯來文翻譯成英文，在麻州「劍橋」付梓印刷。據說當年只印了1700本。

這次透過「蘇富比」公司(美東時間)週二晚上，在「紐約」進行拍賣，這本書是由「波士頓」舊南教會提供，是教會目前僅存的兩本詩篇之一。得標買家是美國慈善企業家「魯賓斯坦」，他打算將這本稀有的詩篇出借給全美圖書館，巡迴展出。

這本書之前估計，可以賣得1500萬到三千萬美元。儘管最後落槌價格不如預期，但仍舊刷新紀錄，之前的紀錄保持者是美國博物學家「奧杜邦」撰寫的「美國鳥類」，是「蘇富比」在2010年以1150萬美元，約合新台幣3億4千多萬元的天價賣出。

不過，史上最昂貴的書面文件是「達文西」的筆記，1994年以3080萬美元賣出，約合新台幣9億1200多萬元。(中廣記者謝佐人在台北報導)
