大陸海協會長陳德銘來台參訪，台中市長胡志強今晚設宴款待，在場有多名台商會長與台中在地企業。陳德銘說，兩岸除產業與開放區合作，還可以在宏觀經濟政策上交流，特別針對全球經濟走勢，兩岸宏觀討論來應對與提升競爭力。

陳德銘此行有多名經貿官員、國企領導與開發區主管官員隨行，陳德銘說，兩岸企業間的交流，應該有些戰略合作，包含互相參股，就新項目、商品銷售等共同努力。

胡志強強調，他感謝海協會對台商的照顧，台中市與大陸地區除農特產品、觀光交流外，未來在現有經貿基礎上，希望在科技先進產業雙方增加交流。
