葡萄牙國營電視台RTP 28日報導，非洲國家安哥拉總統桑托斯赴國外接受癌症治療。安哥拉政府29日否認這項謠言，稱71歲的桑托斯健康狀況良好。

安哥拉政府總統府發表聲明說：「總統目前人在西班牙，但沒有就醫。他的身體健朗，幾天內就會返國。」桑托斯自1979年掌政迄今34年，是非洲在位第二久的領袖，僅次於辛巴威總統穆加比。
