遠傳：若一切順利　明年上半年4G開台「有可能」

【劉煥彥／台北報導】遠傳（4904）總經理李彬首度透露，若4G建設一切順利，2014上半年4G開台「是有可能的」，但她也坦承，政府要求4G通話品質，但6家得標業者力拼短期內建立全台基地台有難度，盼政府可出面協助，並釐清陸製電信設備在台使用規範。
 
李彬下午在「開口說愛 讓愛遠傳」品牌活動現場宣示，遠傳要衝刺成為700MHz頻段的第1家4G開台業者，並預期明年第1季，市場上就有供應商推出符合該頻段的終端設備。屆時遠傳開台，在高、中、低階的4G手機都會準備好。
 
李彬說：「如果NCC（國家通訊傳播委員會）審核速度夠快、我們對外採購電信設備的進口也夠快，而且4G網路和基地台的建設速度也夠快，這一切都順利的話，明年上半年開台是有可能的，但其實這還是有很多變數。」
 
遠傳個人用戶業務暨行銷事業群執行副總經理兼營銷長鄭智衡則估計，遠傳4G開台第1年，4G用戶可望達70~80萬戶。中華電（2412）先前預估，明年將有30萬4G用戶，2015年則上看100萬戶。
