財團法人台灣網路資訊中心所舉辦的「2013年TWNIC前進校園以愛之名網路發光」公益企劃比賽，在近百隊參賽隊伍中，嘉義大學視覺藝術學系助理教授胡惠君帶領3位大四學生組成「選擇植樹，加倍奉還」，與大二5位學生組成「EARTH GIFT：PEN, PENCIL & RULER」，雙雙脫穎而出，獲選為優秀企劃團隊，並各獲7.8萬元與5萬元公益圓夢金。
